The Aboriginal Health Conference 2026 will take place at the Pan Pacific Perth on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August 2026.
This conference will bring together Aboriginal health workers and practitioners, nurses and midwives, GPs, medical practitioners and medical officers, medical registrars, allied health professionals, academics, health administrators, students, and health organisations and stakeholders committed to strengthening the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of our mob. Across two days, delegates will connect, share knowledge, and explore practical, community-led approaches that support lasting health outcomes for individuals, families, communities, and Country.
The 2026 theme, Healing Ourselves, Healing Country, Healing Community, reflects the understanding that healing begins within each of us. When we care for our own wellbeing, we are stronger for our families and communities, and better able to care for Country. Grounded in Aboriginal knowledge systems and connection, the theme recognises the full circle of healing, where healthy individuals strengthen community, strong communities care for Country, and a thriving Country sustains us all.
Through focused streams on community collaboration, chronic disease prevention and management, sexual health, lifelong wellbeing and traditional healing practices, the program invites meaningful dialogue and action toward a healthier future for our mob and for generations to come.
